Today, your babysitters both had sick kids, so Mom needed me to come home and watch after you while she taught art.
First you and I played in the backyard. You love to spoon sand into your bucket in the sand box. We went over to the pond and you sat on a rock and talked to the fishes. I held you over the fence and you said hi to the "woof woof".
I thought I'd maybe take you to see the people at my office, but you are very shy. Last night when some of my friends came over you tried to borrow your head into my shoulder. After a while you warmed up, but we didn't have that kind of time today. So... we went to the park. You and I went on the swings. You like me to go in the swing next to you. Next you climbed up the playground to the slide and came down. You wanted to climb back up the slide, so we took off your shoes and with your little monkey toes you went right back up. You eventually climbed up to the top of the playground and came down the big slide all by yourself.
You walk everywhere. Sometimes we can get you to hold our hands.
Love,
Your Dad
